So, I ended up using vpnc client which works from the command line and works fine.

Alternate Browsers

  • Navigator (Netscape) – now discontinued.  Stable and compatible regardless of web site format
  • Firefox – www.firefox.com – especially with ‘Speed Dial’ and ‘Google Toolbar’ add-ins
  • Opera – www.opera.com – classy, requires intuition & intellect to use it.  If you can think of a possibility, chances are that opera has that feature
  • Safari – www.apple.com/safari/ – ‘Google Toolbar’ does not work with it.
  • Chrome – www.google.com/chrome/?hl=en
